Hotels in Downtown Beijing

We were warmly greeted on arrival. The property is beautiful and clean and all the staff were gracious hosts. The hotel is located in a hutong so not able to get dropped off or picked up in front of the property but only a short walk to the cross street. Hotel not only offers washer and dryer for free but also they can help you do the cleaning if you are too busy to do yourself, very helpful staff. Location is good, I'm able to take bus from summer palace to hotel front door. Bus also goes to some other attractions door to door

Muy buen hotel, situado en calle peatonal muy turística, y con acceso por carretera a 100metros. Nos quedamos en una habitación con terraza, y super bien, tranquilo y limpio. Además te hacen la limpieza de ropa gratis, todo un lujo hoy en día.

I recommend this hotel. The only problem was that I took a reservation for 3 people in an executive suite and, when arrived the only room available had only one bed. ??. I ask for the other bed and They said that the bed have an extra cost.??. Finally, after a discussion, they did not charged the extra cost. I don´t know if the problem is from Expedia or from the hotel, but it is not logical a booking for 3 people with only one bed.

Super cute & clean location, with a bar and ice cream spot within walking distance. In the heart- downtown- of Beijing. Lots of shops/ restaurants nearby. Staff is superb! Not only did they order DD Aka Ubers for us, but they even walked us to meet our DD drivers, helped us get around on the subway and when we couldn't communicate, would happily get their Chinese to English translator out. They even checked in with us via WhatsAPP to make sure my girls and I made it to our DD after a wild night...

Amazing service! The facility is definitely dated and could use updating/renovation, but very well kept still. Top 2 hotels I’ve stayed at in China so far.

I was in China for 10 days. 8 of those days/nights I spent at this gem. There may be other cheaper hotels and Holiday Inns in Beijing with more bells and whistles, but if you are a first time visitor to this wonderful city, this is the place to stay. Other hotels put you in the city center, or are cheaper and are too far, this may be a problem if you are not familiar with transportation. When I arrived I had been under the weather for several days. The check-in was quick and painless and the service desk arranged my transportation for the following morning. Upon arriving in the room the bed had been turned down, slippers laid out and there was a lovely plate of dessert & macaroons and a fruit basket. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Beijing.
