"I had an amazing stay for 2 nights at this beautiful ryokan. I liked the nice, quiet and peaceful atmosphere and the onsen was relaxing. I booked a tatami room with private open bath which was pleasantly enjoyable after a long day of sightseeing and hiking around the mountains. Kaiseki dinner was pretty good, but some times felt a little hungry afterwards. Staff were friendly and kind. I would highly recommend a rental car for transport due to the location. I hope to stay here again and see the beautiful Oboke scenery once again 😊 ありがとうござ いました。"

"The stay was generally quite nice. One small issue we had was that there were many kids staying in the room next to us and they were making a lot of noise late at night around 10:30. Otherwise the hotel offers many nice services. The onsen have several options including open-air, laying baths, and a larger indoor bath. Additionally they have an interesting waterfall shower where the water falls in a stream on your head. They also have 4 private baths that can be quite busy as they are on a first come first serve basis. There is free laundry that also had a short wait. They offer a few complimentary food items as well. I tried the late night ramen which I found tasty. We booked a room with a private open-air bath attached because my wife has tattoos which are not allowed to be shown in the public baths. This let us bathe right out a door from our accommodation which was quite convenient and enjoyable."

"It's a very interesting idea of converting an obsolete commercial building into a hostel and other facilities. I got a very spacious and comfortabe room for a price that you can only get a binker bed else where. "
