Easy check in. The staff spoke enough English to teach me how enable the power in the room which I was completely ignorant to, and overall very friendly. The hotel itself is slightly dated but the facilities are well kept and always clean. The size is par for any "business hotel", so make sure you are aware of what you are booking. Aomori station is a few minutes walk to the west making exploring Aomori province very easy. Every day I was given two free bottles of water, which came in handy...

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was excellent and full of variety, the laundry access and on-site parking convenient, and the rooftop onsen and massage chairs were a pleasure to use. Rooms cleaned everyday. On our first day, I did change out the loungewear provided in the room for a new set that fit better and was clean, as the set provided in the closet seemed like it may have been used very recently!? Still, I highly recommend dormy inn Aomori.
