The place is nice, clean and comfortable. Very convenient if you want to visit Hwaeomsa temple and hike Jirisan. The staff are extremely nice! Helped us with hiking routes, bus schedule and anything we needed (in English!).
The bus stop is right outside the hotel so if you are traveling by public transportation it's very convenient, and this is also as close as you can be to Hwaeomsa temple and the entrance to Jirisan park.
The hotel owner was amazing. Not only did he introduce us to traditional Korean tea in their little cafe, but he and his wife fed us fresh persimmons and baked sweet potatoes in the wood burning stove. Had the best night and would stay again!
It’s a beautiful space with a central location and includes admission tickets to nearby attractions. It has an interesting traditional feel with modern amenities. Just be prepared to sleep on the ground.
We had a comfortable stay at this property. It is nestled in the mountains, very nice outdoor facilities and a convenient on site parking. I did not give a perfect rating because (1) the Check in person sounded rude when we requested a check out time of 12 noon the next day. And (2) hot water did not last thru the whole shower. Apart from that, the place is wonderful!
Loved everything about this place, the staff was super kind, room was spacious and modern and clean. Train station a 5-6 min walk. There's an E-Mart right across the way and a wonderful coffee shop attached at bottom of hotel. Would stay again for sure
Conveniently located near the famous Hwaeomsa Temple and the entrance to hike up to the Nogodan Peak, I couldn't have picked a better place to stay for my two-day trip. The property is owned and operated by an amazing couple who treat you like family. They went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed for my hike up to Nogodan Peak. What a charming hotel in a great location! The free breakfast was modest, but adequate, the rooms were clean, and the style throughout was minimalist and modern. Loved the roof deck too. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the Suncheon area.
