"I’ve stayed here a few times. I just really love the spa, pool and steam room which stays open until 10pm. The hotel is right next to half a dozen restaurant chains. Staff are friendly and appropriate. I did wake up to a raven knocking on the window one morning, like a day after I had told a story to my girlfriend about a raven knocking on my window elsewhere. That was in 2014, but it hasn’t happened the three times I have stayed there recently. Ha ha. The curse must be lifted. There is a great looking sports bar downstairs, but I haven’t used it. If I need to stay in the Manchester area for any reason I will go and stay here."

"My wife and I stayed at the DoubleTree in Leeds for two nights and had a great experience. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spotless and comfortable, featuring a vast, comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The hotel is conveniently located, within a reasonable distance from the city centre, and we really enjoyed the lovely views of the canal from our room. Everything went smoothly, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."
