Cozy accomodation above the cafe with a great location, convenient to stores and restaurants. The only issue was there are only two secured parking spaces, so we had to park in an open unsecured parking lot.
We arrived a little after 6:00 p.m. The entrance door was locked, with a notice that guests with reservations arriving after 5:00 p.m. could find room keys in the mail box. We found an envelope with my name on it that contained the entrance and room key. We entered the hotel, and it was surreal. The beautiful and soothing public room was deserted. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The included breakfast had many choices and they kept it well stocked throughout the breakfast hours. Afternoon tea was nice and the included dinner was also well stocked with many choices.
The hotel is perfectly located, a sort distance from the train station and in a lively part of the city. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It’a also a short walk to King’s Garden and the castle.

Amazing and accommodating staff. Friendly- clean! Expansive breakfast in idyllic garden restaurant. Room beds incredibly comfortable and lots of soothing amenities. Location is secure and conveniently located. Staff went above and beyond to happily respond to several questions and special requests.
Sudkystens at Pillehill is a a great place to relax and get a fabulous meal. It’s located in a beautiful countryside with a stellar view. We had a dip in the hot tub, which is situated in a lovely garden, and sipped on champagne from the carefully curated wine cellar. If you stay overnight, breakfast is great. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom up to date and clean.
We note that our unit had a carpet that needs to be replaced. Otherwise, what a great place to enjoy holidays!
