This hotel is one of those places where you immediately feel like part of the family when you stay here. Everyone is so incredibly friendly, knows who you are and gives amazing recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit. The place is so clean and beautiful, breakfast is amazing and it’s just enough off the beaten path to avoid a ton of beach tourists coming in and out. It has a really exclusive feel while being super homely at the same time. Highly recommend staying here!
Amazing views. Beds were rock hard, showers were old and not convenient, but the pool was nice, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely place outside of town.
What attracted me in the first place was the "golf resort" part of the hotel name. A short week's stay only gave the opportunity to see Knossos and the museum in Heraklion and do some golfing on Greece 4th best golf course. But I would be happy to come back (and bring my husband along) to enjoy relaxing at the perfect resort for exactly that.

Amazing stay at The Island Concept! The staff were wonderful, the service was really exceptional. From the front desk, to poolside, to the restaurant, everyone we came in contact with was lovely and helpful. The property is absolutely stunning, room was modern and very clean.

The staff was prompt, professional, and personable. The Summer months at the hotel are frequented by mostly younger, single guests. The demographics shift to a wider audience including mostly couples and families in other months. That being said, an enjoyable experience may be found whenever you visit. This is a hotel where both management and staff understand the meaning of service. All are well trained friendly, efficient.. This was our second visit and if anything the service and environment of the hotel had improved on last year. The immediate local area is a little tacky and off putting but this does not impact on the hotel grounds and there is at least one good café within a short stroll of the hotel.
Very good, clean hotel with great staff that is ready to help at all times. There is no access to a beach from the hotel and some of the private pools are very close to the road but you should still be able to enjoy it. Great breakfast.
