Seldom do the pictures on the website match the real thing. Sepana is the exception. The view of the rice terraces are incredible. Just as fabulous as in their website. In fact, tour groups stop at Sepana for the view. It’s a 10 minute scooter ride into town but easily manageable with a scooter service You don’t even need a guide to hike the rice terraces. One of the trails begins at the hotel and lead you down to the bridge that crosses over the river into the rice terraces.

This is most definitely a 5 star hotel stay!! The staff is incredible they go above and beyond on every level. From front desk reception restaurant service and housekeeping! Honestly I have been all over Europe France Spain and Italy Portugal New Zealand Australia and have stayed at many so called 5 star hotels and have never experienced the level of care and hospitality that I was given at this 10 star hotel.

The property is beautiful. It’s quiet and has beautiful views of the rice crops and also to the funicular of Fansipan. The rooms are beautiful and really comfy. The hotel is really close to the station which is the building with the clock there you can get the funicular that will take you to Sunworld Fansipan. Walking distance is like 11 minutes and like 13 to the town of Sapa. The only cons is that there is a construction in the block so if it’s raining you will get your shoes with mud, but...

Lovely place. We were in a bungalow, a small living room downstairs overlooking trees and part of the town, mountains behind…even better view from the bedroom above. Large bed, asked and got extra pillows. Good shower. Safe in the room and hairdryer. The staff are amazing. We arrived at 7am from the overnight Vicsapa Train from Hanoi. Tons of lodging options in Sapa, but this is a great choice for the savvy traveler. Close to the action (the lake is just steps away) but on a quiet side street, conveniently located between the town center and the always-interesting Sapa Market. The morning breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty offerings, and the folks at the front desk went above and beyond to help with logistics, recommendations, tours, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
