"I truly enjoyed staying at Dogo Kan, the onsen was great and spacious, both with indoor and outdoor baths. The rooms were so spacious, and you get several small, but appreciated complimentary things such as a sweet snack, cold water and tabi socks. My only complaint would be that the beds (twin) were so small even I a female (1.6 m), almost fell out of it during sleep."
"The amenities and location of the property made it a super comfortable and relaxing stay. It was beautifully designed and the view was great! (Worth the uphill climb and slight detour from the main shimanami kaido route!) Smooth and easy communication with the owner. Google maps location was accurate. Breakfast provided was decent. If you are staying in the property for more meals, bring more food along. Kitchen is well furnished. Will choose to stay here again!"

Every once in a great while you find a place where you wish you could stay extra days. This is one of those places!
We had a group of nine people so we booked the entire Omoya house (6 bedrooms) which worked great for us. The cordial host came out to meet us when we arrived. The house is beautiful, and impeccably clean. It is well equipped with lots of dishes, pans, appliances. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and quiet. I definitely hope to go back sometime soon!
It was so great that I already booked my return! Excellent, helpful staff. Perfect location. Very comfortable bed and soundproof walls— I’ve never slept so well in a hotel. Great value for the cost!
Perfect location close to transportation lines, historic sites, gardens and affordable food options. The free breakfast offers an abundant variety for all palettes and a stunning view of Matsuyama castle and a historic French home. The two on-site restaurants are pricey, but the food is delicious and cheaper eateries are nearby.
