This is a great place to have an authentic Japanese experience. The traditional rooms with tatami floors were spacious and clean. The bedding was light and warm. The onsen experience was very pleasant. The traditional breakfast was flavorful and so were the welcome snacks. Definitely a valuable experience for those visiting the area.
Hotel Route Inn Omagari was spotless, good breakfast and very nice hot baths. We have always had a good experience with these hotels. Small rooms but very adequate.
This was a wonderful, family-friendly hotel. Although not especially convenient regarding access to the station, it would be an amazing place to stay for the Daisen fireworks festival given that it is literally across the street from the festival grounds and has floor-to-ceiling windows on the top floor. The staff was very helpful and kind, going above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. perfect location right next to Akita station with convenient parking and very reasonable parking rate. The beds were super comfortable. Wifi was fast. Breakfast was delicious. Both room and bathroom were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is the number 1 hotel to stay for Akita!!! Lots of shopping and restaurants right next to the hotel. Location was good, next to Akita station. Room was clean. My only issue is the bathroom, specifically the toilet paper roll holder. The bathroom is already small, but the holder was too big that the bathroom was more cramped to move around. I kept hitting the holder with my leg.
