Was a good place as a single night stay. Having the bunk beds was nice for the kids since it’s kind of difficult to find rooms with 4 person sleeping arrangements without a sleeper sofa. They appreciated having their own bed.
My room at this hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was well decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was fantastic and helpful. The food at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was wonderful. The location is peaceful and quiet. It's an easy trip from the hotel down to Lake Bled, and it's nice to get away from the crowds at the end of the day. I highly recommend this hotel.
This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes...
We stayed in one of their 2 bedroom apartments. It had plenty of room for 4 adults and a nice little kitchenette if we wanted to prepare food. The Wi-fi was OK, but the cement walls sometimes kept it from working well. It was clean, but they didn't (or just don't) clean the apartment or replenish towels daily, so you have to ask them if you want that. Minor issues were
1) heat-they have radiators in each room, but they weren't working when we got there, so we spent a very cold first night...
Our 2 nights at the hotel were amazing. We loved our balcony to relax and look out at the lake. So many shops & restaurants in walking distance. Our room was huge, so clean & very nice.
The staff saved us a ton of money! Explained how to get the evignette through Slovenia, if we hadn't had it in advance for 15 Euro there is over a 300 Euro fee! The breakfast was good, and place a nice stay.
View from the living area is awesome, can see the snow - capped mountains while enjoying your morning coffee. The sauna is a wonderful surprise! Place is very close to Lake Jasna, a very underrated lake in our opinion.
Amazing place to stay while visiting Lake Bled. The rooms are clean and modern. The breakfast was delicious and the free parking was a huge bonus. Highly recommended!
The best things about this hotel are that it is a 1-minute walk from Villach HbF; the rooms (at least mine) were clean and quiet, despite proximity to the train (and bus) station; the desk staff was friendly; and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's a 10-minute stroll from the old town and the most scenic part of Villach.
A quirky and somewhat crazy design, but ultimately a very good and conveniently located place to stay. The room was cleaned daily, and the breakfast was noticeably better than what is typical for accommodations in this price range. One particularly charming feature is the moat surrounding the building, filled with goldfish and koi, which gives the property a unique and memorable atmosphere. Overall, an enjoyable and distinctive stay.
