My girlfriend and I booked this hotel under the incorrect impression that pets were permitted (we have a large Golden Retriever). The staff apologized when they saw the dog, and told us we would have to vacate our room. They then moved us from the main hotel and relocated us to an upgraded suite away from the majority of the other guests. We are so appreciative the management allowed us (and the dog!) to keep our reservation.

The most wonderful feature of this hotel is its unbeatable location—right on the shores of beautiful Lake Garda. The main hotel building is full of charm, elegance, and character. Since we needed a larger family room, we stayed in a separate building. We really enjoyed this hotel. It's not in the center of town but easily walkable. especially along the lake. I really liked the walking trail to the lake and the bike path to the lake. The staff were always helpful and available. Loved the pool and the poolside service with tasty and reasonable snacks. Breakfast was good! I had a spa treatment that was excellent. This has been a hot summer and the AC worked well. I would stay here again for my next trip to Lake Garda.
