We had an amazing time. The location was fabulous. The staff and hotel were amazing. We there during August and it was VERY hot in the towns. However, being up at 1500M meant that we were able to sleep and be cooler at night. We will definitely got back!
We had a wonderful time at Förstlerhof. After a day of hiking we enjoyed the Spa area of the hotel. The restaurant and staff is also really nice.
Would definitely come again next time.
A beautiful little hotel nestled in a rustic Alpine town. Charming lobby, bar and restaurant. Gracious friendly staff...family owned and operated. Provided us with very courteous service with personal attention and help with tourist information and restaurants. A place we will certainly hope to stay in the next time we return to the Merano area.
Beautiful hotel, with modern conveniences and old world charm. Very convenient if you are arriving and leaving by train. The only draw back is the bedding arrangement. Two twin beds are pushed together if you request a double room for 2 - Because the beds are two se pare furniture pieces, there is quite a large gab between. Not comfortable set up if you are a couple!
Beautiful area around Merano. Hospitality with a capitol H in the hotel. Comfortable rooms. Impressive wine list :-). Worth a detour or a couple of days to stay.
This boutique hotel is situated in a lovely part of Merano and within 1 10 min walking distance of the old town. The staff (especially Stephan) was fantastic. Great breakfast and nice outdoor pool, garden and indoor pool and spa facility was exceptional as well. Only complaint is that the bed was slightly hard.
My wife and I chose Castel Hortenberg for our stay in Bolzano, and we were blown away from the moment we arrived through our departure. Secure parking with private gates. Upon arrival we were greeted with Prosecco, and this type of care and attention was given to us the entire time by Tommaso and the other staff. The room was mindblowing, facing the mountains and pool, everything felt like luxury including the Acqua Di Parma bath supplies. Incredible heated pool and wellness center that included...
Our experience at Mirabell exceeded our expectations. The entire staff was wonderful, Marian was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. The grounds and property were beautiful we enjoyed the pool, restaurant, amenities and farm - complete with chickens. And the garden was lovely. Mirabell is conveniently located just up the hill from village center and close to the lifts and cable cars of Siusi and Seceda. We hope to visit again someday!
