The property itself was very cozy & authentic. Nestled in the hills with beautiful views. The hosts of the pub were amazing & very friendly. Great food & drinks, a great play garden with lots of equipment. Perfect for couples & family.
I've stayed here multiple times and it is a gem. Located close to the Bovington Tank Museum it has cozy rooms and a wonderful pub with a solid menu, including being extremely good for people with food allergies. I have celiac disease and having several gluten free options (e.g., starters, entres, deserts, beer, etc) at a small hotel is unexpected. What an absolute lovely stay. Very simple yet very well executed. The dinner was absolutely delicious, really mesmerizing, don’t skip it! Breakfast was included and it was amazing!!!
This is a really lovely place to stay. I was given the 2 bedroom cottage next door to the pub, and it is very well catered for. Kitchen, living room, dining area, etc. Bathroom was very clean. Great place for morning walks and dinner at the pub next door. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again.
