It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.

Beautiful building and grounds. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Adequate parking. Nice breakfast options.

Absolutely wonderful, breakfast is cooked to perfection, rooms are quiet and efficient, Staff is very nice and very helpful.

Lovely old style hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful with advice to explore the city. We had a basic double room with a large bathroom. The toiletries were lovely a very comfortable bed. Would like to upgrade next time. We didn’t have the breakfast. But the special treat was a tour of the city in a vintage Bentley with Jim the tour guide and driver. He was so informative and friendly. Didn’t want it to end. It was complimentary and such a bonus. Great central location, with a grocery store only a minutes walk away. Breakfast was very good and seemed to options for everyone. We were in Norwich during July, and the temperature was nearly 40c, we chose this hotel for the AC.

Perfect for a couple a night or weekend- awesome food and pub - like living history!

No frills but great location, clean and quiet

I stayed for 5 days and it was the second time I have been a guest there. The drive through the beautiful tree lined driveway is beautiful, reminds me of Forest Gump movie. Checking in was problem free, the food excellent, drinks lovely and bar personnel so kind. You won't be disappointed. Everyone is lovely and so kind and respectful. Close to town and site seeing sites.

The room was large with a bed, sofa table and chairs. The kitchen seemed well stocked, although we were only there for one night so did not cook. The only problem was parking, found parking in a multi-storey two streets away. We would stay here again as it was close to Cathedral, town centre and not too far from castle.

Nice well managed property / country club. Convenient if you have activities around Norwich. Not unexpected but driving to property is on Norfolk country roads (last 6 miles) can be challenging at night.

Lovely little English country inn. Great food & beer, friendly staff, nice room. Loved staying here.
