"Staff are absolutely brilliant and very friendly. Restaurant is lovely nice homely feel the accommodation needs a refurbishing. Shower trickles water, curtains need replacing holes in them, decor needs updating, new carpets get rid of the damp, mouldy smell. Genuinely a lovely place great location."

It’s a bit further to walk from the train station than other hotels but the walk is worth it for the excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Is also close to The Shakespeare pub and Kelham Island for a great pub crawl."

We were visiting family in the area and couldn't have picked a more perfect spot. All the staff were attentive and efficient. The hotel was beautiful and our room had a wonderful view over the gardens and pond. This will be our go to place for visits in the future.
Clean. Room, helpfull staff. Close and walkable to city center and many things to see within the city. We attended a show nearby and many restaurants were near the hotel making it easy to book a meal and then attend the show. Walkable to and from the train station. We would definitely consider a future stays here.
Very nice all in all, easy to park, right outside, quiet and secluded area yet 5 mins walk into Sheffield. Enjoyed our stay. Just need to modernize the TVs, new mattresses and have onboard internet and it would be perfect.
Came up the day before surgery at the hospital, which is virtually next door. I went for surgery at 6.4am and hubby stayed with our dog. had breafast. Car park easy and staff lovely. Made it all a lot easier.

Newly renovated hotel above a pub. Room is clean and comfy. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Had a great time at the pub with the town folks! Friendship hotel lived up to its name!
