I have been to Maastricht several times in the past and stayed in different hotels. This is the best one I stayed so far and is a very good value. First, it is close to the station. True, it is not in the old part of the city but the proximity to the station is very convenient. Drop off your bag and go. Nice boutique hotel just across the border in Belgium and just minutes away from the beautiful Dutch city of Maastricht. The couple that run the hotel are attentive and helpful. The comfort of the room was first rate. There's a little bus near the hotel that has you in Maastricht city center in 15-20 minutes (important note: Uber doesn't operate in Belgium but the hotel will get you a cab if needed). It is my second stay at this hotel because the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property is very conveniently located across the central station so you can drop off my luggage right away and go into the town even if you arrive before 3 pm check in time. A perfect location when you are traveling by train.
I arrived very late and left early so I cannot judge the breakfast etc, but everything was good and the bed was very comfortable, room was spacious with a with a nice decor. Easy check-in and check-out.
It was great to return after last October. Frank is amazing. He even remembered where we sat in the restaurant! I can’t recall his brother’s name, but he was great, as well. 😉
Outstanding reception and stay! The gardens were beautiful, hotel was perfectly chic, and the room was comfortable. Upscale shopping outlets and movie theater are within a block...and a nice walking path to a lake with a fun, casual bar are all in the neighborhood!
