"Service was excellent.Even though we had to wait for our room to be ready,the service and readiness of the personnel was outstanding.I will come back again for the service. "The place is centrally located in the historic district of Lima , you can walk to Plaza mayor or Plaze de Armas . For good dinning and shopping . Staff is friendly , there is a breakfast but we preferred to walk and eat somewhere else to enjoy the beautiful area"

"First of all, ALL of Lima is loud and dirty so expect some kind of a reflection of that fact in any budget hotel in Lima. It is part of the experience. That given and compared to EVERY other hotel I identified in Lima on Expedia or on foot Hotel Maxys Grau was the best value for the cost. Lima is EXPENSIVE too, unlike Colombia that I have more acclimated to. Everything cost more here than in Colombia or Mexico, so expect to pay more for the same luxuries. "Old building almost without electric point at the room; the photo in web site showing the breakfest is totally fake; there are not enough employees and some times you stay out (in the avenue) waiting for someone open the door, because the people are working an other point and far of the lobby. "Everything was sparkling clean. They accommodated our requests to keep some food items refrigerated during our stay. The ladies at the front desk were very courteous and always willing to help.
