"My wife and I (American) were visiting Santarem as my brother and his wife (originally from Santarem) were in town so could be our guides for a few days!
The original hotel that was recommended to me was fully booked so I looked on the map, found this close to riverfront, reviews looked good so I gave it a try. We booked 2 separate stays (as we were doing some traveling inbetween).
