"I spent 4 nights at Riad Ahlam from 21/3-25/3. Had a wonderful time exploring the medina with its madrasas, mausoleum, tannery, city park, and beautiful Bab Bou Jeloud. Riad Ahlam’s courtyard, where breakfast was professionally served every morning, is absolutely lovely with its tilework, fountain, and assorted decorative items. "If you go anticipating a kind of faded glory, Moroccan grand Riad on the edge of the Medina then you will be pleased with your choice. Great view from the rooftop. Tea on arrival. Yousaf explained where we should visit. A really good time. Also in March – and probably slightly out of the season – it was not too busy. And modestly priced. Definitely worth a visit."

"The Riad is beautiful, traditional. The staff (Hassan and others) were extremely attentive. They even put together a care package for us since we needed to leave early in the morning. This is a quiet Riad in a residential part of the Medina but very close to everything the Medina offers. The food was delicious (although this is not a Riad with a proper restaurant and does not have a bar). Comfortable beds and good water pressure! Highly recommended."
