Martina made us feel so special and helped us beyond duty. She even checked to see if we ca wrap our luggage at Walvis on our way back to SA. The breakfast matron and bar tenders were all very friendly and made us feel super welcome. Martina managed to give us a unit with a partial sea view which we thoroughly enjoyed. Clean, comfortable, attractive room for N$550, which is a lot less than the higher-end places in town. The location is good; very central with the beach and most of the good restaurants and grocers right near by. A good variety of hot and cold dishes at breakfast. A few minor complaints: the room advertised as 'with view' in fact looked out on a well-traveled sidewalk at ground-floor level -- so anyone walking by had a view into our bedroom unless we kept the heavy curtains closed; noise from...
