"The room we had was clean, but dated. There was no air con in the room, but they had left a fan, which helped a little. There was a tea/coffee tray with biscuits, which was nice, but a small fridge would have been good too in the heat. The hotel has good amenities; an attached pool/leisure suite with spa. I didn't use it, but it seemed popular. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast good, constantly refreshing the hot items. There is also secure car parking at the hotel, which is useful with the central location of the hotel, and since the city centre is largely pedestrianised. It is charged at £12 per night. The hotel is also central to the station and bus station should you travel by either option. The bar area was pleasant and well manned. Bar meals available from the afternoon, and a more formal restaurant available if wanted. Recommended!"

"When I read all the great reviews about this property, I thought if I got half the of great services written, I'll be glad. I wasn't disappointed! I was warmly welcome by the very pleasant and friendly receptionist Maria and Cole. They made all the check in process and my stay very seemless. The room was clean, modern and had the the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I had issue with my room and this was immediately resolved by the ladies and Christian . All in all my stay was very enjoyable and this will be my go to hotel anytime I'm in Liverpool."
