Mavillette Beach Lodge and RV Park
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and updated. Gorgeous beach, enjoyed our stay."
Brier Island Lodge
8/10 Good
"Due to an error on my part, we arrived a day earlier than our reservation. Tiffany at the desk was so kind and gracious. She was able to shuffle some reservations and that allowed us to stay the extra night. Accommodations are very basic with no TV or air conditioning. Fortunately, the evenings cooled down and we did not need air conditioning. A TV would have been nice to relax after a day of hiking around the island. You are forced to unplug. Internet is spotty at best. The restaurant is one of only 2 places to eat on the island and is quite pricey as a result. Limited mediocre menu. The walls are very thin and we could hear conversations from adjacent rooms. Even bathroom noises. Stomping overhead at all hours with kids and a dog is not very relaxing. The island is very beautiful."
Whale Cove suites
8/10 Good
"Stayed here for one night when we went Whale watching. It was a self check in property but the hosts responded very quickly when I asked questions. The actual apartment was a bit dark but it was in the basement so to be expected. There were all the amenities needed which was great as we cooked dinner there that night. It was far from any town so you have to make sure you either bring food or eat before you get there but is very convenient to the East ferry if you are going Whale watching on Brier island!"
