This hotel is located in the lovely town of Rattvik. I would recommend stopping here if you are on a trip to Sweden. The staff was wonderful, the bathrooms clean and modern and the breakfast tasty and home like. For those with food allergies the very easily accommodate (in my case no gluten...they offered multiple types of GF bread!). Even though this was originally just a stopover for us the hotel and location were memorable.
Lovely quiet area in a historical setting. The staff were polite, super helpful and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and delicious.
Great swimming pool. Whirlpool was not very warm and jets weren’t functioning, but there was a section of the pool for swimming laps. We love the cozy cottage, but the bathrooms were a good 5 minute walk.
An associate and I were working on the Neil Young "The Monsanto Years" EU tour - the concert was at the Dalhalla in Rättvik, but we booked late so all the hotels nearer to the concert venue had sold out. We booked for July 4 - 6, 2016. The Tällbergsgårdens Hotell was within the closest driving distance to the concert venue and I chose it because it seemed to look the nicest from the photos available. For the price, it was great. The buildings and property overall was charming. Nice views and...
This is a fantastic place. Quiet and comfortable country retreat. Food is excellent and the owners are wonderful hosts! Clean and comfortable, would definitely visit here again!
Good rooms, very good breakfast, and one block from "downtown" Mora. The free coffee machine and tea in the lobby were especially appreciated. Also, the dala horse decorations in the room were fun. Dala horses are a main reason were came to Dalarna! Mora is small. This hotel is on the opposite side of town from the train station, but that's only a 1.5 km walk. The rooms are not air conditioned (we visited in summer), but the staff brought a portable fan to our room.
Great facility with easy parking and we were able to slow charge the E car on site. Long walk to restaurants or a short drive. They had a very good breakfast in the morning.
