"We booked this on a complete last minute 4th of July whim and could not have been happier with our stay. Beautiful carriage house with full kitchen and enough room for my husband and I to have our own spaces when needed. Classy decor and hvac worked efficiently on unexpected 100 degree days. Can’t wait to go back. I also highly recommend Rockport as a fun, quintessential New England coastal town - especially on July 4th. I strongly recommend the Addison Choate!"

"Lovely old house in a perfect position on the harbor to enjoy the park, waterfront, and mainstreet shops, restaurants. Can walk there from train station. Owner John knows everything about the area and the house. Room was very comfortable, with minifridge and microwave, and chairs to sit in and read! Bathroom a little old fashioned as was appropriate for the house. Did not find a hairdryer. Breakfast is room temperature options such as scones, hard boiled eggs, cereal.
