This is a GEM of a B&B! It’s tucked away in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountains, and is an absolute slice of heaven. The mansion is truly beautiful, and has been renovated with an eye for design and careful respect of its past. The antique furnishings were so perfectly chosen for each room, and the bathrooms were modern and classy. We only spent one night here but our stay was quite nice and would come back! Gordon and Michelle were very welcoming. we stayed here primarily for the location, within two miles of Cad West, a primary viewing location to photograph low-flying fighter jets. This gorgeous old house has been restored with beautiful furnishings that complement the breathtaking views from our bedroom and other of the rooms. Our bedroom was very, very comfortable with the minor exception that the bed is a double bed, a little too cozy for a couple accustomed to a king size bed. The bathroom fittings were all modern, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ample, with cooked choices to order. I must mention the extraordinary drawing room, too, that completed the picture...
What a fantastic place! It is in a fairy tale setting and the grounds and town are beautiful! Regan is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for places to visit and hike. The food is exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. This was our favorite spot on our 2 week long trip. Highly recommended!
