"Our family loves staying at this dog friendly hotel. The staff are kind, and helpful making arrival easy on us weary travelers after a six hour drive. The staff who prepare the complimentary breakfast are genuinely kind and attentive. The breakfast area is clean and well stocked. Our room, although beginning to show a little bit of wear and tear, was clean and the bathroom was well suited with plush towels. Everything you need for a good night's sleep. Our compliments to the housekeeping, the front desk and the culinary ambassadors, all who make you feel comfortable and welcome!"

"Staying at the Maverick was a mixed bag. It seems like it was designed for a younger crowd? The beds are low and one side is hard to access. The fire alarm went off at 4:15 one morning, forcing all the guests to leave their rooms and stand outside on the sidewalk while the fire dept checked it out. Then a longer wait was required for the host to show up and reset the alarms, which went off another 4 times after the building reopened. There is no staff onsite. Honestly, the best part of the stay was the cool water machine, which offers a variety of water options. This property was not a good value."
