"Stayed at this location a number of times over the years. It has slipped a bit with age. The bar is no longer open so it sits in the lobby gathering dust with half of the lights out. Definitely an eye sore now that should be removed and replaced with tables. The pool had not been vacuumed in a long time and plenty of green sediment was visible on the bottom. Hallways and doors in need of painting. The doors were so sticky you only want to touch the handles. The luggage carts are a mess. The carpeted areas were badly stained and the handles were dirty to the point you needed gloves to touch them. Almost didn't want to put my luggage on them. The walk in showers are need some attention as you can see moldy areas that have just been poorly covered over with caulk. Our room had a patched area on the ceiling that was not painted. Still good just no longer great."

"very nice hotel. Helpful staff as we checked in late. No elevator which I would’ve appreciated carrying luggage up the stairs. Also shower was a little awkward in that the showerhead was very low and the water regulator had no hard stop on hot or cold. Otherwise, a good clean and convenient hotel, especially for the price."

"The property overall is outdated. It didn't bother me though because the hotel is very clean. The staff were wonderful. I was checked in right away and before check in time started. The restaurant was closed, but the front desk person went over there to grab me a cup of ice anyway. After getting my key and heading up to the 4th floor (the top floor), we noticed multiple bleach stains on the carpet in the hallway. Our room was spacious but lacked seating. There was a single chair in the corner and then a chair at the table. The bathroom was clean but definitely showed signs of wear and tear. There was a patch placed on the shower wall. The tub water handle was very tricky to use. We spun it around so many times trying to find the hot water setting, half of our stay we never found it and took a cool shower. There was mini fridge in the room that worked well. No microwave unfortunately. I didn't mind the bed firmness, but everyone else in my party said the beds were too firm and uncomfortable. It was a quiet hotel. We didn't hear any noise outside or in the rooms around us. There is a lot to do in the area. You can walk to a gas station and a McDonald's, and cross the street for more food options. Please visit Jenni's bakery across the street. She bakes delicious things. Jenni and her sister are super nice and helpful! I guess I didn't realize there wasn't free breakfast at this hotel. Finding a grocery store or a restaurant wasn't too far of a drive (15 min drive to a Meijer)."
