I never stay in motels but I was very impressed with the Rock Ledge. The owner takes very good care of the property that dates back to the 1950’s. We got a very clean, quiet room for a good night’s sleep. It’s a Thousand Islands classic.
Otter Creek Inn was just like the kind of motel I used to stay at when I traveled with my parents as a kid. It was comfortable and clean. It seemed to be very family friendly and quiet enough to get a good night's sleep! I had no idea when I booked it, but it was easily within walking distance of all the attractions I wanted to see in the 'tourist' center of Alexandria Bay. I was genuinely excited with the location! This was my third visit to this particular establishment. I look forward to returning again soon. Would love it if they 'beefed' up their Continental Breakfast.
Great place. Our room was nice. The whirlpool was a bit old but overall worth the price because the place was very conveniently located and had multiple places to eat and get cocktails on site. Great staff as well. I really liked this place and would definitely stay again. Live music too. It's a few minutes walk to everything.
Check-in staff was great. Very friendly and attentive. The hotel was clean and the room was in great shape. The grounds were beautiful. Weekend activities were fun. Pool and hot tub were great. I will be returning.
I booked this in taking my daughter up for her first year at SLU. The day before, we noticed it only had a two star rating & got nervous. I checked to see if we could back out, but we could not at such a late date. I have no idea where someone came up with 2 stars, my entire experience was awesome! I will def be back, my daughter is there for the next 4 years.
Visited my son at Fort Drum. Not too far from Post, amenities and Interstate. Nice quaint place that fit the bill for the need. A real Mom-n-Pop type of place that you can't seem to find anymore. I stay at lots of chain hotels that seem very cookie-cutter, this ain't that. Quite charming.
My stay was fantastic Jeff the manager at the hotel is always really friendly and accommodating. The staff and atmosphere is always great. Along with the cupboard being reasonable priced along with the nice fitness center.
