My mom and I stayed here overnight on our road trip from Texas to Colorado and we would definitely stay here again! Checking in was a smooth process and the room was clean and comfortable. Everyone we met was so kind, including the owners and the other guests. I definitely recommend booking this motel!

Friendly staff. Ample parking in a safe area. Many restaurants within walking distance. Variety of breakfast options.

The lodge is very old and has some of the problems of old age. But it is well maintained and the furnishings are lovely mission style pieces. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful; the front desk fellow carried our luggage from the handicap parking lot to our room. The room was a spacious two room suite and the king size and queen size beds were very comfortable with excellent linens and pillows. It is an older hotel, however it was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. The two gentlemen that worked the front desk were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. I will be returning here next time I am in Alamogordo!

We got upgraded to a very nice suite. All staff members were professional and courteous. No complaints. It is a little hard to find (glad we had our GPS).

Excellent accommodations and very personal service (this is far more a B&B than an Inn, at least as far as I think of each) -- fantastic breakfast, quiet location, very personable hosts and a clean and comfortable stay at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend for those visiting White Sands -- beats a chain hotel any day.

First time staying at this hotel and was very impressed. As soon as you walk in you can see, and feel, the care taken to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms are impressively equipped and a decent size tv. Beds were comfortable, the shower actually had a door as opposed to a shower curtail. Normally I don't eat breakfast at the hotel I'm staying at, but did here. I'll look for this brand hotel in the future.

It was a pleasant stay after a long days drive.

Two bed/two bath townhome in the Spur Landing area of Cloudcroft. Easy to find, near the golf course, pretty quiet. Park at the front door. No A/C (you are at 9000 feet) but there are ceiling fans and tower fans, in case the afternoon gets warm. Firewood is provided for the fireplace. Wifi worked flawlessly. TV is streaming only, so if you don't do that, it may be a challenge. Small deck, with a dinette. A propane grill is there. Golf course view. Often some elk and deer will com along. Adjacent...

The staff was very friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our stay was short so we did not use the amenities.

This is a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The staff are very friendly. The location is very good, but you will need to drive to the shops. Can't recommend enough. Cloudcroft is a fine place to visit.

Place is so beautiful, the owner was so kind! And also he looks like Santa Claus! Ja, ja! It is a very good place to stay more than one night. We hope we can go back soon. Also the breakfast was good! Thank you so much!

Beautiful home

My husband and I were stationed here 25 years ago and return visit with our son. The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants and staight access to main roads, yet quiet. Staff were always attentive friendly and courteous. Rooms were spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. Also hot cofree (delicious) and hot tea in lobby. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Outdoor patio with waterfall and lots of seating. Pool and hot tub were a plus!

I travel pretty much on a weekly basis for business. I'm always skeptical of a budget motel, for obvious reasons, but because of the price, I decided to read the prior reviews for this motel, and they were good. I was not disappointed! And you won't be either! Like prior reviews said, the rooms have been remodeled/ updated it seems, being the carpet in all smelled and looked new, and were extremely clean and bed comfortable. In fact, the room was much nicer than most 2, and a lot of 2 1/2 star...

Perfect for my family, though beds were too high for my toddler.

It is an older building, so plugs were limited. The room was well decorated and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff was super friendly! It is a small town and not much to do, but we found a restaurant and it is close to White sands and Lincoln Forest.
