I went to Tomsriver to visit family and friends. I chose the clarion from prior reviews and they were so right. The rooms were clean and fresh, the staff, house keeping to front desk were so kind and pleasant. The Resturant/ bar fabulous. If you've never stayed right by the beach before, then it will be a new experience for you. Don't expect super luxury. Most of the rentals are Victorian cottages or little B&Bs. The Lady Samantha room was lovely and it made me feel like i was stepping back into a grander time. (The bed was soft and comfy). What a gem. The rooms are clean and well kept up. I saw reviews that the rooms are outdated and not kept up. Jersey Motels being by the ocean are extremely hard to maintain because of the salt in the air. Does much damage.

This is a wonderful shore motel!! 1 block away from Lucky Leos on the boardwalk. Breakfast is only steps away. Room was an efficiency with a stove, microwave and fridge. Staff was excellent! Free parking onsite, as well as pool. Room was CLEAN and peaceful. Doors lock securely unlike other cheaper motels. I WILL be staying here again and again when visiting seaside. The room was extremely clean. The water pressure in the shower was very strong. There was plenty of parking. The staff were friendly. The location was great with close proximity to the beach, boardwalk, and fishing boat moorings.
I loved this hotel because it was literally on the boardwalk so you would think it’s expensive but the total opposite it was super affordable nice big clean pool.
