The Mill Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was good at first glance but skirting boards were full of tea stains, needed a good clean . Make sure to ask for a room at the front as it was like sleeping on the m1,at the back . For what we paid it was ok but not at full price"
Novotel Liverpool Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location. Ideal for any trips to the city centre."
Holiday Inn Express Manchester Airport by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"On arrival we were checked in by a very helpful Stephen, who gave us the necessary information about meal times and menus. We were given one keycard for room 144 on the first floor which was a good size, quiet and more than adequate for one night. The room had a sofa, TV, Desk, Kettle with tea, (caf & decaf) coffee, milk, sugar/sweetners. Further supplies were available from reception. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. The Bathroom had large shower area with a decent shower. A rubber-type non-slip shower mat was provided for inside the shower and a towel-type mat for outside. Liquid soap and shower gel was in dispensers. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. I had the steak in ale pie and my wife had a chicken burger. Both meals were a good portion, tasty and serving staff were attentive. The breakfast was a buffet affair with the hot dishes kept in lidded tureens to keep hot. There were also the usual hot drinks, juices, bread, cakes and croissants. We visited the bar area in the evening. There were various comfortable seating options and prices were comparable with pubs. As we didn’t have a car, we took the bus from & to the airport (313 & 288). For a one night stay, the hotel was a good option and we would certainly stay there again in similar circumstances."
Clayton Hotel, Manchester Airport

"This is our third visit to this hotel. The restaurant & bar are excellent. The staff are very efficient and attentive. The room was very comfortable. The free shuttle service to and from the airport is excellent and the young driver was very helpful and polite."

The Liner Hotel

"Excellent location"
Maldron Hotel Liverpool City
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel is fairly new so modern and clean. Housekeeping staff missed things some days. No drawers for clothes but other than that the location is excellent for exploring the main things in the city. The breakfast is nice but coffee machines weren’t up to snuff when the room got busy."
Adelphi Hotel
8/10 Good
"Thank God my wife wasn’t with me. We would have had to change hotels. Since it was my son and I, we stayed. Here is a short list of the issues: no air conditioning, water stains on the ceiling and the floor, dirty shower curtain that clings to your body, no housekeeping or fresh towels, it smelled of mothballs and rotting fruit. The only redeeming things were the International BeatleWeek festivities. The event was well-run and a ton of fun."
