"Plenty of shops and eating places , very nice hotel and modern staff were extremely helpful room was a bit tight to get in the bed but apart from that it was very nice we will definitely use this hotel again "

"Room was clean and tidy, few things could have been better. Probably needs a lick of paint, and door frame in bathroom replacing, wood is falling apart. Cammy on reception was nice, gave us info about buses etc, all helpful during our stay."

"What needs to be said before anything else is that the staff here were amazing. Every single person I spoke to was genuinely lovely. My room was was spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised. The mini kitchenette was a great addition. The bed was comfy, shower lovely and powerful, and the happy hour down in the lobby sitting space was a lovely way to relax before dinner. The Resident is room only, but they offer some lovely discounts on a great wee variety of local restaurants, cafes and bars. A fantastic location, right in the centre of Edinburgh with great bus routes and less than ten minutes to the tram. "
