Even though the unit is in a campground park type setting, it felt secluded and luxurious. The “cabin” has 2 floors, living on the first and sleeping and bathroom on the second. Plenty of space to spread out. Comfy beds and great shower. The deck faces the wooded area and as we had our morning coffee out there, we were joined by 3 kangaroos which was fabulous! Not a lot of dining options nearby but theres a grocery store not too far and the kitchen is well equipped to whip up or warm something...
Only reason this property doesn't have a higher score was because the wifi didn't work. We had it checked by the staff and it connected, but continued to disconnect. Other than that this was a very comfortable, clean, motel with a nice view of the river. The restaurant was also good.
We have stayed here many times to break up our drive between Canberra and Brisbane. It is great that you can have pets. It is always clean, quiet and easy to check in.
Absolutely fantastic stay- such a gem of a hotel. Sophisticated design, rock n’roll vibes, sexy vibes, and excellent staff service. The town is also charming and you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. The food at the hotel is also exceptional, had a blast staying there and chatting to the bartenders too. Would return in a heartbeat!
