"For the low price, the hotel met our needs well and was a good value. The rooms are a little dated and could use a refresh. I like its proximity to grocery stores, restaurants and the highway. It was the best value for Portland, MI, which is a beautiful city."

"This was a beautiful bread and breakfast, highly recommend! Breakfast was delicious and served quick and hot. Our room was wonderful, bed was comfy, and shower was HOT! Would love to stay again."

"The check-in person was quite amiable and helpful! :-) The facility was quite acceptable for it's apparent age. The only two noteworthy issues (to us) were: 1- While we love a good (COLD) AC unit, this one was obsessively loud - even on it lowest setting. 2- The window coverings in the room did a good job of blocking out an abundance exterior light. However; the bathroom window had nothing to block the convenience store next door - leaving the door slightly open at all allowed too much light in the bedroom area."
