From the moment we arrived, I knew we would not want to check out. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and luxurious. The garden area was peaceful. The entire hotel encourages peace and relaxation. What a perfect location, too! Walking distance to all the sites of Abita Springs and quick drives to even more activities and restaurants. We would love to stay again. It was the perfect anniversary getaway spot!
Bed so cozy…..beautiful windows with old wavy glass. Right on a Main Street. Antique shops and restaurants walking distance. Can see the lake from the front yard a block away.
I have stayed with these awesome people many times and will do so many more times.

I’m an introvert……..peace and quiet in my room….if I feel social I just step outside and take a walk to the lake and watch the sun set from a bench under the oak...

I absolutely LOVE the staff here at the Holiday Inn of Covington. They are kind, courteous, helpful, and very friendly. I would like to thank Daze for going above and beyond in his kind helpful interactions last night as well as Ms. Adrienne going above and beyond in her interactions with me as well. We had an issue with Orbitz, but in the end, i'll always be an IHG hotel member! Thankful for a wonderful, restful stay!
We have family in the area so we have to come to Picayune at least annually. For the past 7 years we have stayed at the Holiday-Inn Express. We chose it the first time because it was a relatively new hotel, so we felt that it would meet our standards. And boy did it. So now it is our place to stay when we are in town. Along with visiting family, one thing we always look forward to is eating at Southen Char on Canal Street. It and the hotel will keep you coming back for years.
I would stay here again. It's clean (checked with a black light), curtains keep the room completely dark, bed was comfortable, air conditioner was cold, shower was hot, wasn't around for breakfast, pool was nice, and it's very close to the interstate. I have no complaints. Only nice things to say.
We had a cruise departing from New Orleans. We wanted to drive down the day before and spend the night so that the day of the cruise we would not be tired from driving all day. This was an excellent choice. The hotel was fairly new (the room even had that new smell). Very clean and comfortable. Seemed like a fairly safe area. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. About 45 minutes from the port. Would stay here again.
Room was fine. Problem with someone checking out as us and causing us to waste time at front desk. Expensive breakfast at their "bistro." Wouldn't stay here again if there was a comparable alternative even though it had a pool and nice gym.
Very nice staff. I reserved this room for my son and his new bride and they put the champagne bucket, champagne, glasses and flowers in the room so that it was a nice surprise after a long beautiful day. I will definitely recommend this property and use it myself on future trips.
