"Of all of the places we stayed in Sri Lanka, we most enjoyed our time here. The staff, service, facilities, and food were wonderful. This is an oasis and a fantastic place to stay during your visit to Sigiriya. Check out time is 12:00, which is perfect for an early morning climb in Sigiriya with a delicious breakfast and swim in the pool to relax before moving on."

Host was exceptional kind and helped navigate the space and surrounding areas during our first visit to Sigriya. Breakfast was also delicious. Wished that we could have stayed longer. "Pleasant stay at Pothana Village, the highlight was definitely the pool and staff. The room was decent, but the bathroom could do with some upgrades. There was a gecko in the room and a couple of bugs, but given the properties location it’s to be expected. I think other reviews have been abit overly critical of this, but the location is right by a lake. Loved watching the peacocks roaming around, some monkeys and all of the friendly dogs. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, always smiling and hospitable."
