"This a very cool hotel. The room had very cool features like a motorized skylight window, shower want in the toilet (bidet style). and very nice appointments. The food was good in the restaurant and the service was too until the "Rick Steves" tour group arrived. Then we were basically ignored. If you see a sign in the restaurant for a tour group, either eat well before they get there or eat elsewhere. "

"This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar and the Schist Villages."
