We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly friendly and took the time to share their favorite restaurants, sights, and local recommendations, which made exploring Carcassonne so much easier. They also offered to pick us up from the train station and drove us to pick up our rental car for a very reasonable price, which was such a thoughtful touch. The absolute best location outside the city walls, you are literally right outside the old city walls. Staff was super friendly and offered to carry ours bags to our room and gave hand written suggestions for restaurants without asking. Our stay was very reasonably priced as well. Lovely hotel in the walled city of Carcassone. Great setup for parking since you can't park in the city. They have a special parking lot where you leave your car and they have car service to pickup you and your luggage and deliver you to the hotel. Private event in their dining room when we were there but they made reservations for us in a lovely restaurant a few door down (Comte Roger) and was one of the best of our trip.
