I cannot say enough good things about this visit. We were exhausted from our trip and they just were amazing and made us feel great. This place was so rejuvenating and I didn’t even get a chance to try their spa. Their attention to every little detail was awesome. I strongly urge anyone going to Ipswich to stay at this hotel. The staff at the Bell were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and it had all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the fact that it was possible to block out all light with the window shades. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and that was excellent.
I had a wonderful visit to Retreat East. The room was wonderful and I took advantage of the free hot tub, steam and sauna. The food for dinner was exceptional and the continental breakfast (also included in the price) was varied and plentiful. I would recommend Retreat East to anyone.
Absolutely loved this little place. Carla is an amazing host she welcomed us and showed us to the room. Very convenient location in the Woodbridge train station. And no the trains are very spread out and it’s about a 15 second vibration and there’s no trains after 11 so it’s very quiet till about 7 am. Breakfast is a full English or vegetarian and a few other choices. Very nice made for you and they save you a table every morning. I like it’s 9:00 not 7am like big hotels. Spotless room nice...
The Sibton White Horse Inn was a great find. Neil and Jill are friendly ower/operators of this Inn. Food is superb, it is all locally grown organic and wonderfully prepared. The Inn my be a bit tricky to find but worthy of the drive through the beautiful English countryside.
Ginny was very hospitable and gracious. Our room was perfect, and the bed most comfortable. Location was a bit remote, but worth the drive. We didn't eat breakfast there, so can't comment on that, but the menu appeared to have ample selections.
The resort is absolutely gorgeous ! The staff were truly 5 stars. Harriet was especially delightful She made our lunch extra special with great recommendations. We really enjoyed her cheerful personality and found her to be very professional. Elliot at the Bar was fantastic and Jordan the night porter was super helpful.
