We stayed at the Mountain Thunder lodge off-peak season at Breckenridge (Nov 30 - Dec2), so admittedly the resort was quieter than usual, but we were automatically upgraded to a larger (2-bed) room upon check-in and felt extremely welcome. The location was perfect for us! Main street was a walking distance, and the area felt really safe. The breakfast was great, too! We had a great view from our window, the room was clean. We liked that we had a full kitchen because we were traveling with our baby. I think the room given to us was an adjoined room, and that made us really hear the noise.from.the other room, so it's a good thing we brought our white noise machine with us. Besides that, we really have no other complaints.

This hotel is very unassuming from the outside, but they have completely remodeled the inside. We had a wonderful stay. The front desk was very responsive and helpful. The pool was open with reservations (24 hours in advance), but just know the hot tubs were closed. Thankfully the pool was very warm!
