The design and planning of the public access restroom in the lobby is positively awful. Needs a complete redesign with less PC artsy fluff and more utility for guests and their families. Very disappointed in Marriott for letting PC bologna get in the way of basic amenities.

Interesting throwback to motor inns, but with updated amenities. The only thing I didn't like was the outdoor stairs. It rained during our visit and stairs required careful negotiation.
This place deserves top marks. We stayed there three nights and were pleased with the staff, the physical condition of the buildings, the cleanliness and the price. We would definitely stay there again.
Can not say enough about this hotel. Great location, VERY clean, super nice, polite, respectful staff. Bed was comfy, LOVED the pillows, seriously we wanted to take them home. Settled for taking a pic of the label to buy on our own. Breakfast worked for both of us. My friend who is on a special diet and myself that can eat anything. Stores and In and Out very close.Cannery Row about 10 min away. I would stay here again any day!
This hotel is a hidden gem! The room was so spacious, it was bigger than a lot of homes we have rented and was just perfect for what we needed! There is not an ocean view but it is just minutes from cannery row and the ocean. We needed a space big enough for a surprise trip for our mom where everyone had a bed and this place checked off all the boxes. We highly recommend this hotel, especially if you want more out of a hotel room than just 2 queen beds for multiple people.

We love Wave Street Inn! So close to Cannery Row. The room was comfortable and clean. I usually find something wrong about a place but not here. Plenty of towels, very clean shower, comfy bedding. There’s a couple of fire pits they light on the second floor and plenty of chairs to hang out. Just so very pleased all around.*Please note: they do charge a parking fee for each day of your stay but you know what? You’d be paying to park in a garage or lot anyways. Took a road trip to Monterey during Spring Break. Enjoyed the friendliness and efficiency of the staff at the Best Western. Good breakfast...especially the hands off pancake maker I had never seen before. Easy access to Cannery Row, the aquarium and Fishermen's Wharf. Would definitely stay there again.
The rooms are large here. I stayed at 3 properties in the area and this was by far the best. There was so much room we could fit 5 piece of luggage, have space to work and not trip in our stuff.
I loved the restaurants and Dust Bowl Brewery. Less tourist VS Cannery Row.
Breakfast burritos everyday were perfect.
The hot tub wasn’t working properly and that was the only downfall.
