"Motol type of setup on the side of the highway. They have clean rooms. Hot water for showers. They had Keurig coffee machine in the room which we appreciated. Working microwave and small fridge. Basic stuff, decent.Good for 1 night if you are in the area."

Room was fine and staff was nice but upstairs floor was noisy unless they were herding buffalo. Also need to put something in the tub to make it less slippery.
While the property was lovely and well furnished and maintained, the unquestionable highlight of our stay was the gourmet breakfast prepared each day by a genial and superbly talented chef. Treat yourself to at least one night ( and breakfast) at this inn if you travel anywhere near Chester, CA, or Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Stayed 2 days.April 13 thru April 15.2024.Big king size bed.Clean safe bathroom.Buffet style breakfast.Bacon and eggs.Energy breakfast to drive to Lassen Volcanic Park.Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Chester.
Don't judge by the exterior. Room was excellent. I think we had a handicapped accessible room but it was very roomy with king bed. Huge shower with instant hot water and great water pressure. TV, good a/c, Keurig coffee maker, small refrigerator with little freezer. Shampoo, conditioner etc. Comfortable bed. Close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The only downside: we were in room 1 by the highway. Need better blackout curtains. Some road noise, but not terrible.
