The centre of Belford is home to cultural attractions like Belford and District Hidden History, so you might want to stop by during your stay. If you want to experience more of the culture Belford has to offer, head to Northumberland Coast, Bamburgh Beach, and Bamburgh Castle.

Purdy Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Property was clean ,very good breakfast selection room was lovely, easy access to locations visited .staff were very friendly.,water pressure in shower was a little low but on the whole a very pleasant stay."
"Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, her attitude was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. She did not appear to have the experience or professionalism required for a front-facing role, which set a poor tone for the stay."

"This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained.
There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection.
There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay £10.80 per day at a nearby car park. "
