Excellent place, breakfast, happy hour were superb.

For the price and fact that it's a motel, the friendliness and service was great. Breakfast is included and there were lots of good quality options to choose from. My only complaint is there wasn't a blanket in the room in addition to the sheet and bed cover.

This is an older hotel - kinda feels like visiting my grandma. That said, the rooms are spacious, the folks are super friendly. If you need 5-star, go elsewhere. If you want friendly and affordable with good amenities, stay here. I stay here every time I travel to a Bay Area race.

San Anselmo is a wonderful place to visit with beautiful surroundings, shops and restaurants. It’s hard to believe huge cities are just over the small mountain. The Inn is the only place to stay right in town. The included breakfast was wonderful with fresh sweet strawberries every morning, and pastries. Check in was a breeze. They have done major work. They room was very quiet, none of the outside world was heard from the room. Very clean as well.

The room was clean and fresh. The bed linens were crisp and clean. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, flat screen tv, and hair dryer. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, fruit and pastries are provided in the main office in the morning. The hotel staff was friendly, even going so far as to remember and address me by my name when greeting me in the morning. Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating as we arrived a couple hours before check in and they were able to get us a room rather quickly. We were okay if they were not able to but I appreciate they were able to make the effort.

Great old silk mill that has been converted into a hotel. It's a great re-use of the space. The rooms are very nice, and the staff were very friendly.

Our stay at Surf Lodge was amazing! Kelly was such a fantastic host. The room was beautifully put together and very clean. The design of the entire property was very thoughtful and such a peaceful getaway.

The biggest thing for us was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Most memorable were Melanie who checked us in and Kyle who took care of us most of the time. We were there for our parents' 50th anniversary and were just blown away by Kyle's warm hospitality, and thoughtfulness throughout our stay.
