This was my absolute favourite stay during our 2 weeks in Scotland! Absolutely authentic experience. The room was clean and so cozy. The food was perfect. Breakfast...omg. And the owner/staff were friendly and so helpful. If you have the chance, do stop here for a stay!
We just had a beautiful 1 night stay with Karolyn & Chris in a very yummy room in a quite delicious & absorbing house. The welcome (includes a chocolate), service, friendliness, the bed, the breakfast (oh yeah THE breakfast - especially the Porridge) & their 2 dogs, who are extremely friendly, after an initial bark when arriving, made the overall experience one we’ll never forget & will be telling other travellers to just book in & enjoy. The property is National Trust listed & is quietly tucked...

It is not a luxury hotel, yet, it's old world charm is on point.
This includes dogs, fireplaces, comfortable chairs, and even a small pub.
It’s a little pricey but the staff here are beyond excellent. The service and dining experience have been exceptional. Our television had issues when we got to our room but the staff were immediately accommodating and switched out the televisions. We are from the U. S. and I was a little hesitant when we first checked in because the carpets and rooms are a little worn but the staff is so great it immediately makes up for it. We have a late flight out of Aberdeen, the person at reception...
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was superb! And loved drinks in the lounge at the end of the day. Beautiful property. Definitely recommend staying here.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff was amazing! The amenities were perfect, especially the spa. The bus runs just on the other side of the parking lot and is very convenient for going downtown or to the airport. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again when I return to Aberdeen!
Our first time in the UK. Got in late. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Room initially was great but toilet didn’t work. Frustrating, but these things happen. Front desk immediately got us a new room and made sure everything worked properly before letting us retire. It is a work-a-day neighborhood, so not a lot of touristy stuff , but multiple food options and a decent grocery shop next door. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel.
Wonderful host with a wonderful and beautiful property. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and relax. Very quiet, clean, convenient and many nearby sights to explore.
