This is a gem of a hotel. The setting is pastoral and beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and peaceful. The room was exceedingly comfortable (although, of course, somewhat small by American standards but large by European), charming, with an excellent en suite bathroom. The hotel restaurant was superb and, although expensive, well worth it -- both the food and the attentive service. I would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to any friend.

The chateau is a beautiful, charming and quiet place to stay. Keep in mind you are living back in time so it’s a little different but it’s a wonderful experience to stay there. The continental breakfast is what we expected with delicious cheese, croissants, assortments of breads and boiled egg for options. The jams were fantastic and oh so very delicious!!! Hundred percent recommend staying with Arthur at his lovely property which was built by a famous French pastry chef. Extremely clean, parking on site for free and comfortable common spaces to linger, The included breakfast is delicious including croissants, bread, homemade apricot jam, fresh fruit, local yogurt. This is a very good location for visiting Giverny – Claude Monet. Host is gracious and friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!
