This is a single room detached building beside the host’s house and it is absolutely delightful. The bed is comfy, the bathroom has lots of big fluffy towels, there is coffee and tea in the room. The weather was warm while we were there but there is cross ventilation and a fan, and we were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the beautiful garden. I would highly recommend this for a couple wanting a quiet place to stay that is convenient to explore the Salisbury area.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. My stay was only one night, but it was exactly as I imagined a stay at an English Inn would be. The Tavern reminded me of The Holiday with its cozy atmosphere. About a 10 minute or less deive to Blackwater Arboretum and Tall Trees Trail in New Forest Park. And a short drive to Lyndhurst, which is a beautiful village. Good food...
