For someone that came to visit from out of town, it was so convenient having the train station nearby. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly, they have everything you need. Breakfast is not complimentary, but they do have a tea and coffee station that's accessible at anytime. The staff spoke English so that was a plus. I took the bus from the airport to the hotel and it was about 8 mins to get there. They didn't have ac but the temperature at night was cool so you didn't need one,...
lovely property with professional, helpful staff. Unfortunately, there was a heatwave, and the hotel has no real airconditioning. The staff did bring me a fan, and quickly. Restaurant is also great.

The Sorell Hotel Sonnental has a great staff and good facilities. The restaurant and spa are easily accessible and th me rooms are quiet. The hotel is close to public transportation, which is important because it is located outside of the main part of Zürich.
Room was very clean and was set up nicely. The room and bathroom were spacious. And a big plus…there was air conditioning, which is not always easy to find in Europe. Staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here!
The check in process was easy. The hotel is in a great location, off the public tranportation line, close to a grocery store and a wonderful Italian restaurant next door.

Courteous and friendly staff, and the property was clean and well-appointed. It's in a commercial area which is to be expected for an airport hotel, but it's an easy few-minute walk to the Rumlang train station which is a short ride to Zurich center.
We found this room to be better than we expected. It had four beds for my family with two adult children, but little seating. Staff were friendly. Great location close to old town. We actually had an amazing view of the river. My only issue: I thought I was booking a room that included breakfast and when I arrived I found out that breakfast, while in the hotel, does cost extra... a lot extra. Fortunately there were a couple of little shops close by where we were able to get snacks. There...
It's hard to believe that an "older" hotel in the middle of Zurich can feel so updated and elegant. I don't know if they remodeled recently, but every square inch seemed spotless. As one of the Rick Steves recommended hotels, the staff and facilities were outstanding. This will be our "go to" hotel if we get back to Zurich.
