Top marks for cleanliness, amenities, and helpful staff. The breakfast was nicely laid out and we enjoyed eating with a view of the beautiful bay. Location is perfect for day trips to L’anse aux Meadows and St. Anthony.
At first glance, it may not look like much. It is an old school that closed in 2012. It comes complete with the school library and the trophies and academic achievement awards. However, the room, a firmer classroom, was huge, clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. It is a great jump off point for L’Anse aux Meadow. The view is lovely. There is an excellent restaurant, The Daily Carch, just a minute or two up the road.
I wish we had booked for more than one night. The cabin was clean, had everything you could need, and had the view was lovely.
Check in and check out was quick and easy, and the staff was very friendly.
